Our Goal is to Decrease Recidivism

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit Romans 8:1. Church Street Ministry is all about rebuilding and reviving people and our environment. Our goal is to get people in need to the help that is already available to them. Mentoring in the FRC, a place where participants receive guidance, noncustodial parenting classes, Literacy workshops, and hands-on workforce development experience.

The House That Guy Built

Our Center is a small house, renovated by Rev. Guy Wells and his team of neighborhood converts and converts-in-progress. Through gifts and donations, and enormous human sweat equity, as seen below, is the house that “Guy” built. Our vision is to REBUILD and REVIVE blighted areas in our communities. We employ participants, whose lives are equally being rebuilt and revived through the renewing of their minds.
